Welcome back

I’m pleased to inform everyone that the club is back up and running. Members can return to using the range as per normal, but please be aware of your distancing when you are on the benches and there are no drink facilities available still.

I will be sending out an email to the people who have expressed and interest in joining the club over the lockdown period. Please be patient while I organise visits.

Re-Opening information

I hope you have survived so far and will continue to do so.

Currently from the 29th March we can start shooting again, with restrictions the same as before the latest lockdown, that is with a maximum of six people present. The first club day will be Sunday 4th April.

You MUST reserve a shooting slot by texting Dave Kirby so that the number of shooters can be controlled. If there is high demand then we will run a “shift” system with some shooting from 09:00 to 11:00 and others from 11:00 to 13:00 say, so be ready for this.

There is sanitizer at the club. The tea/coffee making at the club is not available, if you want refreshment you must bring your own.

Please remember the 2 meter rule while at the club.

John Watson.

COVID Rules

New Rules to allow shooting

In order to shoot you must arrange a booking, for after 5:30pm during the week or for Sunday, by texting Pete Terry so that numbers can be controlled.

There can be NO visitors.

We are not accepting new members at this time.

You MUST maintain 2 meter distance from each other.

If you have to wait at the range, you are asked to wait in your car.

You are asked to wear face coverings.

There can only be one shooter at a bench at a time.

There can only be one person using the pistol range at any given time.

Beverages will not be available from the club, you must bring your own drink and cup.

You must understand that going to the club will involve some risk and that is YOUR risk.

New cover over firing points

Excellent progress has been made on adding a roof from the container to over the shooting benches. Just the roofing panels need to be added. This is a brilliant addition and will make the club so much more usable in the winter months.

A big shout out and thanks to those who have built this.
